Johnny leaned against a console, his holographic form flickering with static, a look of grim resolve on his face. "It's now or never, kid," Johnny said, his voice echoing in the small room. "You take the wheel, or I do. There is no middle ground left." V gripped their weapon, feeling the familiar weight of the Relic burning beneath their skin. Reader's Guide

The mission begins immediately after the events of Nocturne Op55N1, with V and Johnny infiltrating the top floor of Arasaka Tower. You must navigate past security defenses to reach Alt Cunningham's interface in the penthouse. Upon reaching the terminal, you are presented with a series of critical dialogue choices that determine your fate. If you choose to trust Johnny completely, he will take over V's body permanently, allowing him to live out his life while V effectively dies. Alternatively, if you have built a strong bond with Johnny, you can attempt to convince him to let go and fight for your own survival. If you chose the "Don't Fear The Reaper" path earlier, or simply decide to take matters into your own hands against Arasaka's forces, the mission transitions into a final assault. Your choice here directly triggers one of several distinct endings: leaving Night City with Johnny, staying in V's body for six months, or joining the Afterlife gang.
